What we are and are not
- Linguapair is not a law firm. Linguapair and its staff are not attorneys licensed to practice law and may not give legal advice or accept fees for legal advice.
- We do not give immigration advice and we do not help complete or file immigration forms.
- Linguapair is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by USCIS or any government agency.
No guarantee of acceptance
Receiving agencies decide what they accept, and requirements can change. Confirm current requirements on the agency’s website or with a licensed attorney or an accredited representative.
Certification
A translation for USCIS generally needs to be a complete English translation with a certification that the translator is competent and that the translation is complete and accurate. A notary is not generally required. Because rules can change, confirm the current requirements before you file.
Notarization and apostille
Unless a quote says otherwise, Linguapair does not provide notarization or apostille services. If an office requires an apostille or legalization of the original document, it is obtained from the authority in the country that issued it.
