What the certification looks like
A short signed statement attached to your translation. Here is the format we use.
Certification of translation accuracy
I, [Translator full name], certify that I am competent to translate from [Spanish] into English, and that the attached translation of the [document title] is a complete and accurate translation of the original, to the best of my knowledge and ability.
Sample format. Highlighted brackets are filled in by the translator who signs. The real certificate is issued in English. This is not a real certificate.

What we need from you
- A clear scan or photo of the whole document, every page and both sides
- Stamps, seals and handwritten notes visible
- The preferred spelling of names (for example as shown on a passport)
- Any special instructions for the receiving agency
