This policy explains what personal information Linguapair collects when you use this website or request a translation, how we use it, who can see it and how long we keep it. We try to collect only what we need to quote, translate, certify and deliver your documents.

Who we are
Linguapair provides certified translation services for immigration and other official documents. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Linguapair. You can reach us through the contact form on our Get a quote page.
What we collect
- Request details you type into our forms: name, email address, optional phone number, organization (business inquiries), language pair, document type, number of documents, a needed-by date and any notes.
- Your consent to be contacted about the request.
- Your documents, only after you accept a quote and we send you a private, one-time upload link. Files go to private storage that is not publicly accessible, and only the people working on your order can open them. We ask you not to email identity documents or put document numbers in the form.
- Basic technical data that every website server receives, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use it to run and protect the site.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and send you a quote.
- To translate, review, certify and deliver your translation.
- To correct errors and answer your questions after delivery.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse, such as repeated automated submissions.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use your documents for marketing or advertising.
Who can see it
Access to your request and documents is limited to the people working on your order. We use service providers to run the business, such as website hosting and email delivery. They may process data on our behalf only to provide those services. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies, social media pixels or third-party analytics, and it does not load fonts or scripts from advertising networks. It may store a small functional entry in your browser, for example to remember your language choice or the estimate you were looking at. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.
How long we keep it
We keep the details of your request and order for 12 months after your last order or inquiry, so that we can answer questions and handle correction requests. We keep the documents you send us and our working files for 90 days after delivery, then delete them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to us through the contact form. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can. Deleting information may mean we can no longer handle a correction request for that order.
Security
Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We limit access to your information to the people who need it to do their work, and we ask you not to send identity documents by ordinary email. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will tell you in a prominent way.
